Chief of Staff to the CEO

Location - India (Remote)

Work directly with the CEO on the most important problems at WarpBuild: strategy, growth, finance, hiring and operations.

WarpBuild provides compute infrastructure and tools for enabling AI-powered teams to work efficiently. We are a small team working on multiple products: WarpBuild CI (blazing fast GitHub Actions runners), and Helios (agentic harness for your company's knowledge).

This is a breadth-first role. You own problems end to end across functions. You use AI tools to do the work of a team.

What you'll do

• Own cross-functional projects for the CEO, from problem statement to shipped result.
• Run the company cadence: planning, goals, metrics, and follow-through on decisions.
• Build financial and operating models: pricing, unit economics, infrastructure cost and capacity.
• Run growth experiments: channel strategy, attribution, signup funnel and budget allocation.
• Research markets, competitors and customers. Turn the research into clear recommendations.
• Run hiring pipelines, and vendor, legal and finance processes.
• Build AI agents and automations that replace recurring manual work.
• Prepare investor updates and key external communication.

Interview Process

Three rounds, each about 60 minutes over video. No industry experience is assumed. Every case comes with the context and numbers you need. AI tools are allowed for information and knowledge.

1. Background and business case (60 min): Things you have started, built, run or owned. Then a strategy case about a real question WarpBuild faces: structure the problem, ask for data, estimate, and recommend.
2. Marketing and growth (60 min): A working session on how a self-serve developer product grows: attribution, signup funnel, budget allocation and simple experiments.
3. Financial modeling (60 min): Build a model live in a spreadsheet on a screen share. The problem is about infrastructure economics and capacity allocation under variable demand.

Each round is a knockout. An offer is rolled out in person over a final 30 minute conversation.
