Job Description
The Role
We're looking for a Lead Product Marketing Manager to own how VectorShift's product shows up in the world. You'll sit at the intersection of product, sales, and the market — turning a fast-moving, technically deep platform into stories, materials, and moments that make people get it and want it.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll set the product marketing strategy and execute against it directly,. The through-line of everything you do: taking something technical and making it land with audiences who don't live in the weeds of AI infrastructure.
What You'll Do
Product releases & launches. Own the narrative and go-to-market for new features and products — write the release notes, launch blogs, changelogs, and announcement copy. Coordinate launches across product, sales, and social so every release lands with impact instead of slipping out quietly.
Demo paths & product storytelling. Design the demo flows and narratives that show VectorShift at its best — the "aha" sequences that turn a curious prospect into a believer. Partner with sales and solutions to make sure the story we tell matches the product they experience.
Sales enablement & materials. Build the collateral that helps sales win: one-pagers, pitch decks, battle cards, case studies, competitive positioning, and ROI narratives. Keep it current as the product and market evolve.
Social & top-of-funnel content. Drive our social presence and content engine — posts, threads, short-form explainers, and campaigns that build awareness and pull people into the funnel.
Translate technical → non-technical. This is the heartbeat of the role. Take complex capabilities (RAG, agentic workflows, integrations, the SDK) and make them clear, compelling, and obviously valuable to business buyers, operators, and non-technical decision-makers.
Positioning & messaging. Own our core positioning, value propositions, and messaging framework — and make sure it's consistent across the website, sales, product, and social.
Market & competitive intelligence. Stay close to customers, competitors, and the broader AI landscape, and feed those insights back into product and GTM strategy.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in product marketing, with a track record of owning launches and GTM for technical products (developer tools, AI/ML, or B2B SaaS/infrastructure strongly preferred).
- Exceptional writer and storyteller — you can go from a dense technical spec to a crisp, persuasive narrative, and you have samples to prove it.
- Demonstrated ability to make technical concepts accessible to non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-moving startup — you'll define process where none exists and ship without a lot of scaffolding.
- Strong cross-functional partner who can work shoulder-to-shoulder with product, sales, and founders.
- Experience building sales enablement materials and running product launches end to end.
- Bonus: hands-on curiosity about AI tooling — you like actually using the product, not just marketing it.
