About Stacksync
We’re growing into the most advanced Enterprise AI Agents that bring real ROI.
Stacksync connects the systems businesses run on through real-time data sync, workflow automation, and AI agents. We help companies automate critical operations across their CRMs, ERPs, databases, and other business applications.
We’re looking for an ambitious engineer who wants to work directly with customers, solve difficult problems, and help build the product itself.
The role
Your role is to make the future happen, right-now.
You’ll own the path from “here’s how our business works” to a live, reliable implementation. That means understanding customer operations, building compelling demos, shipping production integrations and AI workflows, and contributing improvements to the core platform. You’ll be working for large customers.
You won’t just configure software or hand requirements to another team. You’ll write code, make technical decisions, and stay accountable for the outcome.
We are a fully remote company. This role includes travel across the United States to work in person with customers, plus travel to our San Francisco office whenever needed. Hosting provided anytime. In-person collaboration is a core part of the role.
What you’ll do
- Own customer implementations end to end. Lead discovery, define scope and success criteria, design the solution, and take it through deployment and iteration.
- Build demos that make the value concrete. Turn a prospect’s actual workflows into working demonstrations, partnering with the founders and sales team.
- Ship production systems. Build integrations, workflows, and AI agents that handle real data, unreliable APIs, edge cases, and operational constraints.
- Build the product, not just one-off solutions. Turn recurring customer needs into reusable connectors, platform capabilities, and better developer and user experiences.
- Work where the problems are. Visit customer sites, collaborate with operators and executives, debug alongside their teams, and bring what you learn back into engineering.
Who you are
- A strong engineer. You’ve built and operated production software for external customers. You’re comfortable with Python or TypeScript, SQL, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- An owner. You turn ambiguous problems into clear next steps and working software without waiting for detailed instructions.
- Customer-first. You ask good questions, understand the business problem behind a request, and communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical people.
- Fast and thorough. You know when to prototype and when to invest in reliability, security, testing, and observability.
- Ambitious and grounded. You seek responsibility, learn quickly, accept feedback, and care more about getting the result right than being right.
Experience with enterprise integrations, CRMs, ERPs, distributed systems, or AI agents is a plus.
Why Stacksync
Work directly with the founders, influence the product through firsthand customer experience, and own meaningful engineering work from day one. Your scope can grow with your ability to deliver.
Apply with your résumé and something you’re proud of building. Tell us what you personally owned, the hardest problem you solved, and the impact it had.
