About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Marketing Manager to own key marketing programs and lead a execution-focused team. This is a player-coach role. You’ll run your own programs across events, content, and campaigns, while managing our Marketing Associate, our Marketing Events Lead, and our Research Partners, the UX research experts who represent Sprig in the research community.

You’ll report to our Chief Revenue Officer and partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to build pipeline, strengthen Sprig’s position as the AI-native alternative to legacy survey tools, and create memorable experiences for research and product leaders.

This is a hybrid role, 4 days per week in our San Francisco HQ (Wed is WFH).

Your Impact

Programs and pipeline

  • Own an integrated marketing plan across events, content, and campaigns that generates qualified enterprise pipeline

  • Partner with Sales and BDRs to align programs to target accounts and make sure marketing-sourced pipeline converts

  • Track performance with clear attribution, reporting, and optimization of CAC and ROI

  • Lead messaging and positioning that establishes Sprig as the modern, AI-native alternative to Qualtrics and legacy survey tools, and keep it consistent across the website, events, content, and sales collateral

  • Partner with Product on launches, and build sales enablement materials such as one-pagers, decks, and competitive battlecards

Team leadership

  • Manage and develop the Marketing Associate (campaigns and content), the Marketing Events Lead (field events, conferences, and Sprig-hosted experiences): set priorities, coach, give regular feedback, and support career growth

  • Direct and coordinate our Research Partners: plan thought leadership, speaking, and dinner and roundtable appearances, and make sure their work supports pipeline goals

  • Set operating rhythms across the team, including the editorial calendar, event calendar, and weekly priorities

  • Manage the marketing budget and keep spend aligned to revenue targets

Events and thought leadership

  • Oversee our event portfolio, including executive dinners, regional events, conferences, and flagship experiences like the Sprig Experience Research Summit

  • Help turn events and research partner content into repeatable pipeline programs

  • Build content and thought leadership (blogs, webinars, case studies, social) aimed at research and product leaders

Your Strengths

  • 5-7+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, ideally selling into enterprise

  • 1-2+ years of experience managing, mentoring, or leading others, with a hands-on, player-coach approach

  • Experience across field or event marketing, content, and demand generation, and a track record of turning programs into pipeline

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple programs, deadlines, and stakeholders

  • Comfortable working with data to measure what’s working and adjust quickly

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, including with Sales

  • A hands-on operator who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth startup

  • AI-forward: curious about using AI tools to move faster and do better work

  • Ability to travel up to 10%

  • Bonus: experience marketing to Product, UX, Design, or Research buyers; community-driven or practitioner marketing; Series A-D experience
