Key Responsibilities:
● Inbound Lead Management: Own and manage inbound leads from marketing channels (website, campaigns, partnerships). Respond promptly, qualify them based on ICP fit, and move them through the sales funnel.
● Discovery & Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough discovery calls with prospects to understand their business challenges, current workflows, and decision-making process around payroll/HR management.
● Product Demonstrations: Independently run tailored product demos for mid-market prospects, articulating how SalaryBox solves their specific pain points.
● Stakeholder Management: Navigate multi-stakeholder buying committees — engage HR heads, finance leaders, founders, and operations teams — to build consensus and drive deals forward.
● Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Maintain a healthy pipeline in the CRM with accurate deal stages, expected close dates, and revenue forecasts. Provide weekly pipeline updates to leadership.
● Negotiation & Deal Closure: Own the full closing process — handle pricing discussions, negotiate commercial terms, address objections, and close deals independently.
● Account Handoff & Onboarding Support: Ensure smooth handoff to the customer success/onboarding team post-sale, setting up the account for long-term retention.
● Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing to share lead quality feedback, and with product to relay prospect objections and feature requests
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For:
● 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS inside sales in an individual contributor closing role (not just lead generation/SDR).
● Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly/quarterly revenue quotas.
● Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Hindi — ability to articulate value clearly to senior business stakeholders.
● Experience selling to mid-market accounts in India is strongly preferred.
● Strong discovery and consultative selling skills — you listen before you pitch.
● Comfortable running end-to-end product demos over Zoom/Google Meet and/or in person. Experience managing deal cycles of 2–6 weeks with multiple stakeholders.
● Proficiency with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms.
● Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
