
Job Description
A Product Lead, Earn at Rove will own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for the ways users earn Rove Miles outside of travel. This role will focus on Rove Shopping, Rove Dining, personalized offers, gift cards, merchant integrations, card-linked offers, browser extension experiences, attribution, transaction tracking, and rewards infrastructure. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, product-driven, and excited to build the earning layer that helps users turn everyday spend into aspirational travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the product roadmap for Rove’s Earn pod, including shopping, dining, personalized offers, gift cards, merchant integrations, and card-linked offers.
- Translate complex merchant, affiliate, dining, and card-linked offer systems into simple user-facing earning experiences.
- Partner closely with engineering to define requirements for attribution, transaction tracking, offer eligibility, pending miles, confirmed miles, reversals, and missing miles flows.
- Build merchant-facing product experiences, including onboarding, offer setup, campaign management, reporting, and integration workflows.
- Develop personalized offer experiences using user behavior, merchant economics, eligibility rules, segmentation, and experimentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with partnerships, operations, marketing, customer support, design, and engineering to launch new merchant-funded rewards products.
- Own key Earn metrics, including active earners, shopping and dining GMV, merchant conversion, transaction tracking rate, repeat usage, revenue, and user trust.
- Identify operational gaps in the rewards lifecycle and build product solutions that reduce support volume, missing miles claims, fraud, and merchant confusion.
Qualifications:
- Strong product management experience in consumer commerce, fintech, marketplace, rewards, loyalty, affiliate, card-linked offers, or merchant-funded offer products.
- Excellent product intuition with the ability to simplify complex earning, attribution, and rewards systems into clear user experiences.
- Strong analytical ability and comfort working with funnels, transaction data, merchant economics, cohort behavior, and experimentation.
- Ability to work closely with engineering on APIs, data flows, tracking systems, eligibility logic, and operational tooling.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to align engineering, design, partnerships, marketing, operations, and support around a clear roadmap.
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially around rewards accuracy, user trust, merchant terms, and edge cases.
- Passion for travel, rewards, loyalty programs, shopping, dining, and building consumer products people love.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with affiliate networks, card-linked offer platforms, dining rewards networks, merchant-funded rewards, or shopping portals.
- Experience building merchant onboarding portals, partner dashboards, offer management systems, or campaign reporting tools.
- Experience with personalization, offer ranking, segmentation, growth experiments, and lifecycle engagement.
- Experience working on products with transaction tracking, rewards ledgers, payment data, fraud risk, or customer support workflows.
- Experience at an early-stage startup or high-growth consumer company.
- Strong understanding of browser extensions, mobile commerce, consumer activation, and repeat engagement loops.
Additional Requirements:
- Prior experience in a product-driven startup, commerce, fintech, marketplace, loyalty, or rewards environment strongly preferred.
- A passion for building the infrastructure behind the future of travel rewards.
