Job Description
The owner of Pocket’s Amazon business end to end across the US and international marketplaces. You own revenue and profitability—not just PPC—including listings, advertising, pricing, promotions, inventory coordination, account health, and expansion into new markets.
Amazon is a rapidly growing channel for Pocket. Your job is to scale it profitably while ensuring the accounts, listings, inventory, and operations run smoothly. You’ll work directly in Seller Central, solve problems yourself, and coordinate with marketing, creative, operations, finance, and external partners where needed.
This is a hands-on ownership role for someone who has already operated Amazon at significant scale and can execute without constant direction.
What you'll own
- Amazon revenue, profitability, and channel performance across all active marketplaces
- Seller Central operations, account health, compliance, and issue resolution
- Amazon PPC, including ROAS, TACoS, conversion rate, and contribution margin
- Listings, A+ Content, storefronts, merchandising, and conversion optimization
- Pricing, coupons, promotions, deals, reviews, ratings, and returns
- FBA inventory health, replenishment, stockout risk, stranded inventory, and reimbursements
- Reporting on revenue, advertising, profitability, inventory, and growth opportunities
- Expansion into new Amazon marketplaces, including operational setup and launch execution
- External agencies or specialists where needed, while remaining accountable for the outcome
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of hands-on Amazon marketplace experience
- You’ve personally owned Amazon businesses generating at least seven figures in monthly revenue
- Deep knowledge of Seller Central and end-to-end Amazon operations—not just PPC
- Strong experience scaling Amazon advertising profitably
- Strong understanding of FBA, inventory planning, replenishment, and fulfillment
- Experience optimizing listings, pricing, promotions, and conversion
- Experience resolving account health, compliance, suppressed listing, and reimbursement issues
- Experience operating across multiple international Amazon marketplaces
- Strong commercial understanding of revenue, contribution margin, TACoS, ROAS, and conversion rate
- Analytical, execution-focused, and able to troubleshoot independently
- Consumer electronics, international expansion, Brand Registry, DSP, Vendor Central, and Amazon tooling experience are strong pluses
What we offer
- Full ownership of a rapidly growing Amazon channel
- The opportunity to build and scale Pocket’s Amazon presence globally
- High autonomy and direct impact on company growth
- Direct access to founders and close collaboration with marketing and operations
- Competitive compensation
Interview Process
- Quick intro call (15 min) — logistics, compensation expectations, timezone, and location fit
- Amazon marketplace case study
- Interview with Head of Marketing
- Interview with Operations or Finance
- Reference check
