Product Engineer

Overlap builds video marketing AI agents for media companies to automate their clipping and posting. We work with some of the world’s largest media companies and thousands of creators.

The Role: We're seeking a Product Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of Overlap. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to work across our entire tech stack.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the founding team to define and implement product features
• Develop and maintain our web app (Next JS Frontend, Python Backend)
• Help optimize and maintain our Google Cloud infrastructure
• Help with product design and development

Required Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and wear multiple hats
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ready and willing to go above-and-beyond
• Experience designing and deploying web apps
• US Citizen, Willing to work In-Person in SF

Preferred:

• Proficiency in agentic programming — success in the role requires excellence in quality and speed
• Experience building 0→1
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services, especially Firebase and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies
• Experience with Figma
