Member of Technical Staff, Tokyo Deployed

We’re looking for candidates to own the technical delivery for our enterprise customers in North America and APAC region (especially Japan). The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with customers, bridging between different stakeholders, also in a fast paced environment.

In this role you may:

• Lead post-sales customer meetings, collect requirements, and be the primary point-of-contact for them
• Travel to customer sites to see our products being used on the field, and fix problems on-the-fly
• Work directly with the software infrastructure & deployment teams to ensure delivery of our products
• Bridge between sales and engineering functions
• Help guide the engineering teams to understand customer requests and features

Hard Requirements

• Business level proficiency in English and Japanese
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience in EPC, maritimes, chemical manufacturing, heavy equipment manufacturing, semiconductors, or other related industries
• Industry experience in management consulting
• Good visual taste / an appreciation for aesthetics
• Comfortable with building out features / prototypes using Claude Code, Codex
• Ability to understand issues in cloud deployments (knowledge of computer networking, DevOps, common issues on major cloud platforms)
• Academic background in computer science or engineering
• Proficiency in other languages (e.g. Mandarin)

We are looking to hire candidates specifically in Tokyo for this role, however we may be open to remote or SF-based applicants for the right profile.
