Job Description

About the Role

Solutions Consultant at Nash spans the full arc from pre-sales to post-sales. You run the discovery workshop that surfaces a prospect's real problem, build the sandbox that proves it can be solved, scope and ship the integration that makes it real, and stay on as the pilot's project manager. Your ownership doesn't end at close: you carry the technical handoff into production, owning implementation and integrations until the customer is live and stable, then transition cleanly to CSM and Engineering for ongoing support.

You're how Nash earns trust in technically complex deals: proving Nash works against a customer's actual stack, building a value case credible enough for a CFO to sign off on, and owning technical work that would otherwise pull in Product and Engineering. You'll lean on Claude throughout, and turn what you learn on each engagement into something the rest of the team can reuse.

Roles & Responsibilities

Discovery, Workshops & Technical Value

• Runs discovery and facilitates workshops that get past a workflow diagram to the real constraint, synthesizing findings into a documented value case.

• Builds and defends an ROI model in the customer's own numbers, one that holds up to a CFO's questions.

Environment, Integration & Architecture

• Stands up and configures sandbox/testing environments, using Claude, and maps exactly where Nash sits in a customer's stack.

• Scopes and builds integrations, especially against marketplaces and developer portals, and answers complex architecture questions with current-state and future-state diagrams.

Deal & Pilot Delivery

• Designs and delivers demos and POCs/trials mapped to real use cases, all the way to a decision.

• Runs simulations and optimizations in Claude, extrapolates the business value, and project-manages the pilot end-to-end.

Implementation & Handoff

• Owns the technical handoff into production: implementation and integrations after close, through go-live, not just the pilot.

• Runs the pilot results readout and go/no-go conversation, then hands off cleanly to CSM and Engineering for ongoing production support.

Team & Product Impact

• Feeds technical gaps and recurring themes back to Product and Engineering, and pushes small product updates (PRs) directly instead of waiting in a queue.

• Turns what worked once into a reusable template, script, or reference architecture, and stays first-in on new AI models and agent capabilities.

What We're Looking For

• 4-6 years of customer-facing experience in a solutions consulting, sales engineering, or technical program/launch management role, ideally with real ownership of full cycles from discovery to go-live.

• Hands-on comfort with AI tools yourself: you've used Claude to actually build something, not just read about what it can do.

• Comfort running structured discovery, including workshop-style sessions with multiple stakeholders, to get past the stated ask to the real use case.

• Real building ability and architecture fluency: comfortable scripting, working with APIs, standing up a sandbox or integration yourself, and representing how an OMS/WMS/TMS/POS talks to outside systems in a diagram.

• Comfort building and defending an ROI model in a customer's own numbers, and operating at enterprise scale: multi-region, multi-channel merchants with dozens of existing systems.

• Comfort owning delivery through implementation and go-live, not just the deal: you see a pilot through to a stable production handoff instead of moving on at close.

• A real builder's instinct, strong communication across technical and business stakeholders, and comfort with ambiguity when the right process doesn't exist yet.

Nice to Have

• Experience running simulations/optimizations or building value models that held up under executive scrutiny.

• Experience in logistics, delivery, or supply chain.

• Formal value engineering, management consulting, or technical program management background.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary + variable compensation (OTE aligned with top-quartile SaaS benchmarks).

• Equity in a fast-growing venture-backed company.

• Health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

• Flexible PTO and remote-first culture.

• Travel required approximately 2–3 times per month for on-site discovery workshops, pilot kickoffs, and executive presentations.

More about Nash

Nash is the platform that powers modern logistics.

Commerce has inverted. For decades, customers came to where products and services were. Now products and services come to them, on their terms, in real time. That shift has turned every company into a logistics company, even though almost none of them were built to be one. Couriers, fleets, gig workers, parcel carriers, in-store labor, and increasingly autonomous systems all have to be coordinated in real time, against tighter windows and rising expectations, with hard-fought customer trust on the line.

Nash unifies decisioning, execution, and capacity into a single programmable platform. Real-time, AI-native intelligence determines what should happen, operational control executes it, and the platform dynamically orchestrates capacity from any source: a company's own fleets, partners, or the Nash delivery network. Whether a job involves a courier, a gig driver, an internal fleet, a store employee, a technician, or an autonomous vehicle, Nash selects the right resource and manages execution through completion.

We power delivery and logistics for some of the most recognizable brands in commerce, including Walmart, Urban Outfitters, 7-Eleven, and Woolworths, alongside platforms like Shopify and Toast. Over the next decade, logistics will become as foundational to commerce as payments, cloud, and connectivity. Nash is the platform that powers it.

Nash was founded in 2021 by Mahmoud Ghulman (2x Founder, MIT) and Aziz Alghunaim (2x Founder, 2x YC, Ex-Palantir, MIT) and is backed by Y Combinator, a16z, and other top investors. We are headquartered in San Francisco.
