About the Role

Mixpanel's website is the front door to our product and our biggest driver of pipeline — it's the first real experience most prospects have with us. We design, build, and ship it ourselves in Framer, treating it as a living product surface rather than a set of static pages.

We're looking for an Interactive Web Designer who lives and breathes this work — someone energized by building, not just designing and handing off. You'll report to our Brand Design Leader, partnering closely with our Staff Interactive Designer and Website Manager, and working cross-functionally with Marketing and other teams to turn strategy into shipped web experiences. The work directly shapes how prospects understand, trust, and convert on Mixpanel — from product storytelling to improving conversion paths.

This is a hands-on-role: you should be as comfortable building in Framer as sketching a layout in Figma. Webflow experience translates well — different platform, same muscle of designing and building in one motion.

What You'll Do

Design and build end-to-end experiences and iterations

  • Design and build pages and components directly in Framer, not just hand off static designs for someone else to implement
  • Bring interaction, motion, and detail to web experiences — micro-interactions, transitions, scroll behavior — that make the site feel considered rather than templated
  • Build and maintain landing pages for campaigns, launches, and regional/ABM needs, working from brand and campaign direction that drives pipeline goals

Strengthen our web design system

  • Contribute to and help maintain a component library that lets the team build faster without sacrificing quality
  • Build clean, flexible components — organized, well-named, and built for reuse rather than one-offs — so the library stays easy for the whole team to work in
  • Flag where the system is missing something, and help build the pattern rather than one-off around it
  • Keep an eye on responsive behavior, accessibility, and performance as part of the craft, not an afterthought

Partner closely with the Staff Interactive Designer and Website Manager

  • Work in tight, daily partnership with the Staff Interactive Designer on craft direction, interaction/motion decisions, and system quality
  • Coordinate closely with the Website Manager on prioritization & publishing cadence
  • Take ownership of pages and projects end-to-end, while staying aligned on the broader web design direction set by your Brand Design Leader
  • Bring ideas to the table — this role has room to shape how we build, not just execute what's asked

Collaborate across the brand and marketing org

  • Partner with Brand Design, Copy, and Campaign/PMM stakeholders to turn briefs into shipped web experiences
  • Translate brand and campaign direction into interactive, on-brand web pages
  • Give and receive feedback in critique as part of a small, high-craft team

What We're Looking For

Experience and craft

  • Experience designing and building for the web — this role requires hands-on production in Framer, not just Figma comps. Webflow experience also acceptable.
  • Experience working with CMS-driven content in Framer or Webflow
  • Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, and composition, applied specifically to web and interactive contexts
  • A portfolio that shows shipped, live web work — not just static mockups of what a site could look like
  • Comfort with motion and interaction design — you think about how a page behaves, not just how it looks

Builder mindset

  • You genuinely enjoy the build phase — you don't see it as a lesser task compared to "the design part"
  • You think in systems and components; you notice when something should be reusable
  • You keep the design system clean as you go — good naming conventions, organized files, components built to be reused rather than duplicated. Hygiene isn't an afterthought for you, it's part of the craft
  • You're curious about new web design tools and techniques, and you bring that curiosity back to how the team works

Collaborate across the brand and marketing org

  • Partner with Brand, Content, Marketing and Product stakeholders to turn briefs into shipped web experiences
  • Translate brand and campaign direction into interactive, on-brand web pages
  • Give and receive feedback in critique as part of a small, high-craft team

Bonus skills

  • Basic HTML/CSS/JS fluency (even if you're not shipping production code)
  • Motion design, prototyping, or creative coding experience
  • AI tooling experience to scale design and build work
