Head of Freight

THE ROLE

We’re looking for someone to build out our freight forwarding businesses. This is a hands-on, high-touch role where you’ll be setup up trade lanes, build partner relationships from the ground up, and help us grow our freight forwarding business. You’ll partner directly with our founders and engineers to drive the products we build.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Continuously setup and optimize trade lanes
• Develop long term relationships with freight partners, including ocean carriers, warehouses, international agents, etc.
• Manage the buy-side of the freight business
• Partner with our CTO to turn your prototypes into durable production software
• Report directly to the CEO
• Wear many hats. Early-stage means we all do a bit of everything

BONUS POINTS IF YOU

• Experience with carrier negotiations
• Asia-US lane experience
• Speak another language fluently
• Are a licensed customs broker (LCB)
