Job Description

We're Flint - and we're transforming American healthcare

At Flint (withflint.com), we're solving one of the most urgent challenges in the United States - a critical shortage of nurses - and we're doing it at startup speed. We connect world-class international healthcare professionals with hospitals ready to offer Green Card sponsorship, creating life-changing opportunities for nurses and their families while strengthening healthcare systems across the country.

Backed by Y Combinator, Haystack VC, Audacious Ventures and others (investors in Airbnb, DoorDash, Instacart and Klarna) we're a mission-driven, fast-growing team working across 20+ states. We're on track to serve over 100,000 patients this year and recently closed a $4M round to scale our impact - we're just getting started.

If you're looking to do work that's fast-paced, ambitious, and genuinely life changing, then Flint is where you'll do the most meaningful work of your career.

The Role: Relocation Operations Lead

Nurses move through Flint's pipeline – screening, interviews, offers, EB-3 sponsorship, visa processing, licensing. Then comes the phase that shapes how they'll feel about Flint for years afterward: relocation. They're packing up a life in one place and restarting it in another. The person in this seat is the reason it all holds together.

You'll report to our Head of Operations and partner with her to take the relocation function from "run manually today" to "a scalable system with a team that runs it." You'll directly manage the Operations Associates team, build the playbooks and dashboards that run the function, and be the steady, calm voice nurses reach out to when something hard comes up.

This is a builder's seat. The playbook doesn't exist yet, the dashboards don't exist yet, and the vendor relationships are partially in place. You'll design all of it.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and coach the Operations Associates team – day-to-day guidance, performance feedback, onboarding, and training
  • Own the end-to-end relocation experience – from pre-arrival planning through successful onboarding at the candidate's U.S. facility: flights, housing, transportation, local orientation
  • Build the playbooks, SOPs, and dashboards – track on-time arrivals, housing placement rate, candidate satisfaction, and the KPIs that tell us the function is healthy
  • Show up personally when it matters – when a nurse hits a wobble in their first weeks, you pick up and keep them supported. This part of the role doesn't delegate
  • Pre-scope new facility cities – travel out ahead of candidates to understand housing, transport, and on-the-ground realities
  • Partner with Account Management, Immigration, and Licensing – surface risks early, keep timelines aligned, make handoffs seamless

What We're Looking For:

Must-Haves

  • 3–6 years of professional experience in any combination of operations or program management
  • You've designed or built an operational workflow, playbook, or system – not just inherited and maintained one
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis or reporting – you've built dashboards, tracked KPIs, or run operational reports
  • Professional experience overseeing relocation processes (e.g. executive relocation, global assignment, relocation operations etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Nice-to-Haves

  • You've founded or co-founded a business, freelance practice, or side project
  • Familiarity with U.S. healthcare, EB-3 immigration pathways, or BON licensing
  • You've recently delivered an AI project or AI-driven operational improvement
  • You have experience working in fast-pace startup environments
  • You've managed or led at least one direct report
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, or business

Why This Role Is Different

  • You'll report directly to the Head of Operations and manage the Operations Associates team from day one – your fingerprints will be on how the function scales
  • Series A, $8M+ raised, 20+ states, 4x growth target – relocation is the bottleneck that can't stay a bottleneck
  • Your work directly affects a nurse's arrival, their family's first months in the country, and the hospital waiting on them

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $110,000 USD base
  • Equity: Ownership stake in a Series A, Y Combinator-backed company
  • Location: Remote, USA
  • Travel: Domestic, at least once per month

If you're ready to own this seat – building the systems, leading the team, and showing up for the people they serve – we'd love to meet you.
