Job Description

Full Time | In-Office

Location: New York, NY
Salary: Flexible based on experience and includes performance-based components tied to acquisition performance and customer growth.

About Corgi

Corgi is building the infrastructure for the next generation of insurance. We are a technology company using AI, automation, and modern infrastructure to rethink how insurance is built, distributed, and operated.

We are looking for a Growth Engineer to own how we acquire customers and grow our products.

About the Role

You'll run our paid media across LinkedIn, Meta, Google, and emerging channels, owning the performance of our acquisition campaigns across markets and products.

You will own the budget and you will own what it produces. Our paid acquisition spend is growing quickly and there is no ceiling on it—as long as the returns hold. That is the job: proving, at every stage, that the next dollar brings back more than it costs. If you can defend the unit economics, the budget keeps growing.

This is an analytical and systems role, not a software engineering role. You won't be shipping product code. You will be treating acquisition as a machine to be measured, instrumented, and tuned.

It is ideal for someone obsessive about optimization, comfortable being measured on outcomes, and interested in building something from the ground up rather than inheriting a playbook.

What You’ll Do

  • Own customer acquisition cost by channel, market, campaign, product, and audience.
  • Plan, launch, and manage paid campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, Google, and emerging channels.
  • Build and run targeted campaigns aligned to Corgi's products, markets, and customer segments.
  • Design and execute a continuous A/B testing program across audience, offer, landing page, form design, messaging, and campaign structure.
  • Allocate and reallocate budget across markets, products, and channels based on performance.
  • Build attribution from ad click through qualified lead and customer acquisition, and specify the tracking infrastructure needed to support it.
  • Report regularly on spend, cost per lead, customer acquisition cost, conversion rates, and channel performance.
  • Work closely with sales and other teams to understand which leads convert and feed that information back into targeting and campaign strategy.
  • Manage agency, vendor, and platform relationships.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve campaign performance, conversion rates, and acquisition economics.

Who You Are

  • Demonstrated ability to optimize a system through disciplined testing and measurement. Paid media experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including a working understanding of statistical significance.
  • Comfort owning and defending a budget and the results it produces.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage many concurrent tests and campaigns.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Experience with insurance, financial services, technology, lead generation, or other performance-driven acquisition is a plus.
  • An obsessive, analytical mindset and a genuine interest in figuring out why something works—and how to make it work better.

Why Corgi

You will have significant ownership over a critical part of the business.

There is no enormous marketing department or rigid corporate structure between you and the results. If you have an idea, you can test it. If something is working, you can scale it. If something is broken, you can fix it.

You'll work closely with the Corgi team and have the opportunity to build and shape our advertising function from the ground up.

If you are the kind of person who looks at an ad and immediately starts thinking about how you could make it convert better, we'd like to meet you.
