Design Engineer, Technical Designer, or PM
Job Description
Location: Remote
Timezone: within CET ±5 hours
About Us
The software that architects and engineers rely on is decades old, hard to use, and built for a pre-AI world. Since 2021, Cogram is building the alternative: AI-native tools that leading firms use to deliver projects.
What we’re looking for
- Design engineers, designers that are comfortable shipping code, or design-savvy technical PMs
- You’re good at talking to users and understanding requirements. You can design, ship, and own features end-to-end.
- 1+ years designing or building production software.
- Habitual power user of AI (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or whatever’s next). Strong opinions about AI-augmented engineering. Always finding tools that make you and the team faster.
- You know when to cut corners and when to be rigorous.
Stack
Typescript, Python, Postgres, Redis, React/TypeScript, React Native/Expo, Terraform/Kubernetes on AWS & Azure.
Benefits
Fully remote or in-office or hybrid (Berlin or London), three offsites/year. 38 paid days off (26 personal + 12 German public holidays). Competitive salary + generous equity. Personal development stipend.
How to apply
- Link to your portfolio or GitHub
- A paragraph on something you’ve designed or built that you’re proud of
We’d love to hear from you.
Interview Process
- Screening call (20 min)
- Technical & design interview (with and without AI, ~1 hour)
- Cultural-fit interview with co-founder (30 minutes)
- Decision
We move fast. The whole process often takes a few days.
