Lead Product Manager, Mobile

We are looking for a visionary, customer-obsessed and technology-focused product lead with expertise in mobile app development. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of CLEAR’s mobile app experience, delivering impactful solutions that drive user satisfaction and business growth moving CLEAR’s mobile app from a collection of features into an intelligent, trusted travel companion that helps members prepare, navigate, and recover throughout their journey. 

You will build a mobile App experience that is the most helpful digital layer of the travel day and be accountable to driving adoption. You will connect CLEAR’s identity capabilities, real-time travel context, airport operations, member relationships, and partner-enabled services into experiences that are personalized, proactive, and genuinely useful before, during, and after travel. This includes helping members understand airport conditions, find the right path through the airport, discover food and lounge options, and access relevant CLEAR and partner services in the moments that matter.

What you'll do:

• Establish CLEAR’s Mobile app strategic vision and product roadmap in alignment with enterprise goals and user needs, converting a multi-year vision into prioritized product investments, structured sequencing, and core metrics like member retention and app engagement.
• Transform the app into an intelligent travel companion that guides members through preparation, real-time navigation, food ordering, lounge discovery and access, and any disruptions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Operations, Member Care, Marketing, Security, and Legal to drive a shared vision and accelerate product development and build the organizational conviction required to deliver a multi-year transformation.
• Champion product excellence and innovation by balancing differentiated, long-term bets with the iterative improvements required to earn customer trust every release. Use research, analytics, experimentation, and member feedback to decide where to go deep and where to learn quickly.
• Define and deliver proactive, context-aware experiences that translate real-time conditions into useful next actions—including personalized timing, wayfinding, disruption support, family and group coordination, service recommendations, airport conditions and availability, and timely human assistance when digital guidance is not enough.
• Extend the app’s value beyond the airport by creating reasons for members to return, share travel with family and friends, discover benefits, and build a deeper relationship with CLEAR.
• Build a durable product operating model that supports fast learning and responsible scale across iOS and Android, including strong analytics, experimentation, reliability, accessibility, and platform foundations.
• Connect the digital app to the physical airport experience, CLEAR’s service teams, and partner ecosystem so the best member experiences extend beyond the phone - including coordinating airport information, food ordering, lounge access, Concierge, and other services with Ambassadors, airport operations, and partners.

What you're great at:

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, with significant exposure to mobile app development.
• Proven ability to lead teams with a deep sense of customer empathy, driving user advocacy throughout the product lifecycle.
• Seeing around corners and creating clarity in ambiguous environments. You can articulate an inspiring future state, identify the few strategic bets that matter most, and sequence the work required to make that future real.
• Spearheading large-scale consumer mobile app initiatives, managing technical trade-offs, and ensuring architecture is scalable and secure for both iOS and Android platforms
• Establishing a data-driven culture that orients your team and the broader organization around key performance like mobile app user acquisition, engagement and member retention.
• Connecting digital products to physical-world operations, service teams, and partner ecosystems.
• Collaborative and strategic prioritization skills, balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders while maintaining a focus on delivering impactful solutions

The total compensation range for this role is $300,000-$350,000, depending on levels of skills and experience.

This range represents the combined base salary and new hire equity package (in Restricted Stock Units) for this position at CLEAR. Additionally, this role will be eligible for refresh equity grants as part of our ongoing compensation program. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience, and performance. All stock based compensation will be subject to the terms and conditions of applicable agreements.
