About AlgoUniversity

AlgoUniversity builds technology-led learning products that help ambitious students become strong software engineers.

Our founding team includes Olympiad medalists, ACM-ICPC World Finalists, and alumni of IIT Bombay and IIIT Hyderabad, with engineering experience at companies such as Google and Apple.

You’ll build products for AlgoUniversity and Tensor School—including AI agents, coding-agent harnesses, learning systems, and end-to-end platforms used by up to 1 lakh learners.

What You’ll Build

• AI agents and harnesses for software-development and learning agents
• End-to-end products across frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure
• Tools that use coding agents to improve how software is built and how students learn
• Reliable production systems used by a large and growing learner community
• New product capabilities directly alongside the CTO

Your First 60 Days

First 30 days: Work directly with the CTO to launch the next version of our AI-agent harness to 1 lakh users.

By 60 days: Scale the harness, improve its reliability, and expand what it can do alongside the CTO.

What We’re Looking For

• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of software-development experience
• Strong software-engineering fundamentals
• Experience building full-stack projects or products
• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, Docker, Azure, or AWS
• Practical experience using coding agents such as Codex or Claude Code
• Ability to take a problem from idea to working production software
• Comfort learning quickly and working across different parts of the stack
