Coach is building the AI coach for the physical world. Starting with in-person sales.

For centuries, field organizations have relied on layers of management to relay information, coach teams, and understand performance. We believe AI will radically change how these companies operate and how people learn and improve at work.

Today, understanding why a sales rep succeeds or struggles still requires being alongside them in the field. That doesn’t scale.

Coach helps employees learn faster, improve, and close more. Managers get a clear view of what’s happening, where people need help, and why, so they can focus on solving problems.

Our custom AI harness turns field conversations and business context into sales intelligence, grounding coaching in what actually happens on the ground. Over time, that accumulated knowledge becomes a company brain: a shared understanding of how the business works.

What you’ll own.

You’ll build how people experience Coach: the mobile apps employees use in the field and the web tools managers rely on to understand and support their teams. Working directly with the founders, alongside product design and AI engineering, you’ll take features from an initial idea to production. You’ll help decide what to build, sweat the details of how it works, and learn from the people using it from the field.

• End-to-end product delivery. Understand user needs, define a focused scope, build the interface and its integrations, ship, and iterate based on feedback and usage.
• Our web and mobile experiences. Build fast, intuitive interfaces for coaching, exploring sales conversations, and understanding team performance.
• Product quality. Make the entire experience work: interactions, loading states, errors, accessibility, performance, and unreliable connectivity in the field.
• Frontend architecture. Develop reusable components, clear data flows, and testing practices that help us ship consistently as the product and team grow. Work closely with product design to evolve our design system.
• AI-powered interactions. Partner with our AI engineer to turn agent capabilities into useful product experiences, making context, progress, and results clear to users.
• How we build software. Work with the team on our software factory: AI-assisted development workflows, automated testing, and visual verification that let engineers, non-engineers and coding agents contribute reliably.

Who you’ll work with

We're a small team in SF and Paris, growing fast. Our CTO has been building software and AI across many industries for the last 10 years. Our CEO and COO are repeat founders who built and ran in-person sales teams selling to pharmacies. We've lived the problem firsthand and built Coach to solve it.

With just two employees (Customer Success + Engineering), we took Coach to $1.5M ARR in 8 months — and we're scaling aggressively from here.

What you bring

• Experience shipping and maintaining products used by real customers, with ownership extending beyond the initial release.
• Strong frontend engineering foundations and deep expertise in modern web or native mobile development. You’re comfortable learning and contributing beyond your primary platform.
• Product judgment: you ask good questions, challenge assumptions, and turn ambiguous needs into focused, useful features.
• An eye for interaction and visual detail, and the ability to work closely with a designer to deliver a polished experience.
• Confidence working with APIs, authentication, data models, and SQL—and making the backend changes needed to complete a feature.
• An AI-native development workflow. You use coding agents effectively and can explain, debug, and verify what they produce.
• The autonomy to move work forward and the communication skills to make decisions with a small team.

We're not hiring for a title or a number of years. We're hiring for what you can build. Whether you've done this for 2 years or 10, if you've shipped real products people use and can turn an ambiguous problem into a polished, working experience, we want to talk.

Our current stack

• Web: React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and TanStack Query.
• iOS: Swift and SwiftUI.
• Android: Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Backend and data: Supabase, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and TypeScript Edge Functions.

You’ll help evolve this stack. We value depth in your primary stack and evidence that you can learn the rest. Experience with every technology listed isn’t required.

Interview Process

Our process has four stages, mostly remote:

1. Intro conversation with our CTO. Discuss your experience, what you’re looking for, and the technical challenges we’re tackling at Coach.
2. A short, time-boxed take-home exercise. Work through a problem representative of the role. AI tools are welcome and encouraged, that’s how we work.
3. Technical deep dive. Walk us through your solution, explain your decisions and trade-offs, and explore a small extension together. We care about how you think, build, and verify your work.
4. Meet the cofounders and team. Discuss how we’d work together, hear more about our ambition, and ask your remaining questions.

Throughout the process, we want you to get a clear sense of the work, the team, and the opportunity.
