Job Description
About Abridge
Abridge was founded in 2018 with the mission of powering deeper understanding in healthcare. Our AI-powered platform was purpose-built for medical conversations, improving clinical documentation efficiencies while enabling clinicians to focus on what matters most—their patients.
Our enterprise-grade technology transforms patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes in real-time, with deep EMR integrations. Powered by Linked Evidence and our purpose-built, auditable AI, we are the only company that maps AI-generated summaries to ground truth, helping providers quickly trust and verify the output. As pioneers in generative AI for healthcare, we are setting the industry standards for the responsible deployment of AI across health systems.
We are a growing team of practicing MDs, AI scientists, PhDs, creatives, technologists, and engineers working together to empower people and make care make more sense. We have offices located in the Mission District in San Francisco, the SoHo neighborhood of New York, and East Liberty in Pittsburgh.
The Role
We are seeking a strategic Director, Value Attainment & Analysis to join our Revenue Operations team. You will be our subject matter expert in healthcare economics, owning our ROI frameworks and building compelling business cases with customers to ensure alignment, credibility, and actionable results. Leveraging your deep expertise in healthcare economics, financial modeling, and strategic analysis, you will develop new ways to articulate, quantify, validate, and partner with organizations on benefits realization, clearly demonstrating the measurable value of Abridge's solutions and accelerating our growth with healthcare providers.
What You'll Do
Healthcare Economics & ROI SME: Act as the subject matter expert and thought leader within Abridge on healthcare economics and customer impact. Develop, maintain, and enhance credible, customizable ROI frameworks that clearly illustrate the value delivered by Abridge solutions across care settings and products.
ROI Artifacts: Own the development and delivery of foundational ROI artifacts that are regularly shared with customers, such as the ROI Calculator and business cases. Advise internal product and go-to-market teams on how to continuously evolve these frameworks as our product footprint grows, keeping pace with market demands, healthcare economic trends, and value-based care requirements.
Strategic Commercial Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, partner success, and solutions consulting teams during client engagements to build customized, collaborative ROI analyses emphasizing time savings, revenue enhancements, workforce efficiencies, and clinical quality outcomes.
Business Cases: Partner with sales to deliver business cases that demonstrate value attainment to accelerate revenue growth with key accounts, both in new logo pursuits and expansion with our existing customers.
Executive-Level Engagement: Directly engage and build relationships with senior healthcare executives — including CFOs, CIOs, CMIOs, revenue cycle leaders, and clinical leadership — to clearly communicate strategic economic value and foster alignment across financial, clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders.
Product & Analytics Collaboration: Partner with analytics, data science and product management teams to develop scalable ROI reporting; demonstrate expertise on the way our new product launches create incremental value for our customers.
Internal Education & Enablement: Educate and empower the commercial organization with your subject matter expertise on healthcare economics principles and effective ROI articulation, strengthening both pre-sale decision-making and post-sale customer success.
What You'll Bring
Extensive experience in healthcare economics, financial modeling, and recent cycle dynamics, including different payment models across care settings and payer types.
Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex data into clear, persuasive, actionable insights.
Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage and influence a wide array of executive stakeholders.
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build consensus without direct authority.
Familiarity with healthcare technologies related to clinician workflows, documentation, revenue cycle management, benchmarking, and operational improvements.
Bonus Points If…
Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field. Bonus points for a master's degree in a similar field.
Prior experience within healthcare systems, health-tech organizations, healthcare startups, healthcare consulting firms, or related analytical roles.
Demonstrated success influencing senior-level stakeholders across healthcare finance, clinical operations, revenue cycle management, and technology adoption.
