Hotplate is transforming the food industry by empowering chefs to start and run their own businesses online. The traditional food business model is broken, expensive, and low-margin. During the pandemic, many chefs found a more profitable way to sell food through Instagram via preorder and pickup. However, there was no platform to support this unique sales model—until Hotplate.
We provide chefs with tailor-built websites to drop and sell food via preorder, streamlining storefront and backend operations. With Hotplate, chefs can manage thousands of orders and customers, helping some achieve monthly sales of over $100k entirely on their own.
