BetterBasket is supported by advisors doing industry-leading research at Wharton (UPenn), combining theoretical foundations with our founders' on-the-ground experience launching the grocery platform at Uber Eats.
Tech Stack
- OCR: Build efficient OCR algorithms to efficiently extract information from photos of grocery items.
- NLP: Utilise NLP in item matching, popularity and reviews understanding and classification.
- Machine Learning: Develop and implement machine learning models for pricing and item matching, working with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.
- Cloud and Containerization: While not mandatory, knowledge of Azure cloud and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
