Auricle is developing an implantable neurostimulation device to restore hearing in patients who no longer benefit from hearing aids but aren't prepared to make the jump to a cochlear implant. These who typically have severe-to-profound hearing loss in the higher frequencies score <50% on word recognition tests. Our less invasive approach preserves residual hearing through a reversible minimally invasive surgery.
Tech Stack
Our core technology is in our electrode design, its delivery and attachment. We're using a platform technology developed by another company for the implantable and externally worn electronics that will be paired with our own internally written software.
