Master and Capability Planner

Introduction to the job

In our high-tech small production runs, single part and prototype production, you will support us in the high-precision manufacture of optical components, assemblies and systems made of glass, glass ceramics and ceramics.

Role and responsibilities

As a Master and Capability Planner, you will shape the future of the entire ASML Berlin site with strategic vision and a data‑driven approach. You will develop mid‑ to long‑term plans and strategies to ensure the required future capacities. Your key interfaces include Operations, Engineering, Sourcing, and Corporate Real Estate.
Your goal: create transparency and achieve strong stakeholder alignment.

• Strategic responsibility for mid‑ to long‑term production planning, taking future capacity requirements, economic conditions, and comprehensive cost and risk assessments into account.
• Systematic identification of bottlenecks and risks across the value chain, as well as the development of sustainable mitigation and action strategies.
• Active collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across sectors and locations to ensure integrated and efficient planning.
• Preparation, analysis, and presentation of meaningful decision‑making materials and KPIs for various management and stakeholder levels.
• Continuous analysis of production and planning processes, including the initiation and implementation of targeted improvement measures.

Education and experience

• Completed technical degree, for example in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in production‑oriented companies, ideally with a focus on production or capacity planning.
• Practical experience in analyzing and optimizing planning, logistics, or manufacturing processes is an advantage.
• Confident and proficient use of SAP.
• Business‑fluent German and English skills.

Deine Aufgaben 

Als Master and Capability Planner gestaltest Du mit strategischem Weitblick und datenbasierter Herangehensweise die Zukunft des gesamten Standortes bei ASML Berlin.  Du erarbeitest mittel- und langfristige Pläne und Strategien um die perspektivisch notwendigen Kapazitäten sicherzustellen. Deine Schnittstellen sind Bereiche wie Operations, Engineering, Sourcing und Corporate Real Estate. Dein Ziel: Transparenz schaffen und Stakeholderalignment erreichen. 

• Strategische Verantwortung für die mittel- bis langfristige Produktionsplanung unter Berücksichtigung zukünftiger Kapazitäten, wirtschaftlicher Rahmenbedingungen sowie einer fundierten Kosten- und Risikoabwägung. 
• Systematische Identifikation von Engpässen und Risiken entlang der Wertschöpfungskette sowie Entwicklung nachhaltiger Mitigierungs- und Handlungsstrategien. 
• Aktive Zusammenarbeit mit interdisziplinären Teams über Sektor- und Standortgrenzen hinweg zur Sicherstellung einer integrierten und effizienten Planung. 
• Erstellung, Analyse und Präsentation aussagekräftiger Entscheidungsvorlagen und KPIs für unterschiedliche Management- und Stakeholder-Ebenen. 
• Kontinuierliche Analyse von Produktions- und Planungsprozessen sowie Initiierung und Umsetzung zielgerichteter Verbesserungsmaßnahmen. 

Deine Qualifikation 

• Abgeschlossenes technisches Studium, beispielsweise im Bereich Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Produktionstechnik, Logistik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation. 
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in produktionsorientierten Unternehmen, idealerweise mit Schwerpunkt in der Produktions- oder Kapazitätsplanung. 
• Praxiserfahrung in der Analyse und Optimierung von Planungs‑, Logistik‑ oder Fertigungsprozessen von Vorteil. 
• Sicherer und routinierter Umgang mit SAP. 
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse. 

Deine Kompetenzen 

• Analytische und strukturierte Denkweise mit der Fähigkeit, auch komplexe Fragestellungen effizient zu durchdringen und nachhaltige Lösungen zu entwickeln. 
• Solides technisches Grundverständnis sowie ausgeprägtes Interesse an Fertigungsprozessen, insbesondere im Umfeld der Halbleitertechnik und Optik. 
• Professionelle und souveräne Präsentation von Inhalten gegenüber unterschiedlichen Zielgruppen auf verschiedenen Ebenen. 
• Selbstständige, verantwortungsbewusste Arbeitsweise mit klarer Ownership für eigene Projekte und Themen. 
• Proaktives Handeln sowie die Fähigkeit, Aufgaben und Initiativen eigenständig zu priorisieren und voranzutreiben. 
• Ausgeprägte Teamorientierung und aktiver Beitrag zu einer konstruktiven, bereichsübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit.
