Role and responsibilities
As Financial Business Analyst Customer Support (CA) within the Business Insights & Control (BI&C) Innovation and Enabling department you support the CS sector. Use financial data (models), BI and AI to create business insights to control costs and together with finance business partners provides financial forecasts for Customer Support. We are in a transition implementing AI and automation in our operational expenditure (OPEX) and FTE forecast and planning.
As CS Business analyst you are responsible for proactively enabling better business decisions through efficient and effective financial reporting and analysis of the operational expenditures, while making use of different data sources. Your goal is to provide relevant insights to finance business partners and business counterparts via recurring reporting and ad hoc requests. Furthermore you support in companywide requests and financial planning processes.
- Translating generic OPEX data into business driven and transparent forecasts applying AI and BI solutions.
- Drive the total OPEX forecasting and budgeting data for Customer Support on which you also report.
- Provide proactive support to the finance business partners and finance leadership.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to optimize process and reporting through AI‑enabled tools, predictive modelling and process automation.
Education and experience
- Master degree, preferably in Business Economics.
- Experience with AI‑related topics such as:
- Predictive analytics or machine learning‑driven forecasting.
- AI‑supported scenario modelling or anomaly detection.
- Automation of financial processes using AI workflows, scripting or advanced tooling.
- Working with AI copilots or other generative AI tools in a finance context.
- Large amounts of data are no problem for you. For a thorough analysis, you have SAP knowledge and excellent excel skills.
- Experience / knowledge of SAP, (financial) data modelling and mainstream BI, as well as experience in Financial Planning cycles is an advantage.

Other information
The job is part of the ASML finance organization, within the Business Insights & Control team. The financial business analyst and improvement lead reports to the Manager OPEX and FTE analytics within the BI&C department. He/she interacts with various departments in and outside of finance.
