
LPSC/LRC - Repair Engineer
Job Description
Context
Has basic knowledge of 1 sub-module/module, be able to maintain and improve the workprep, be able to solve an issue on (sub-) module level.
Works within standard practices and procedures and is supervised on progress and results.
Mainly interacts with GL and colleagues in own team.
Requirements
Relevant Bachelor degree in technical domain (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics).
No/limited experience in a technical production environment.
or
Secondary vocational education in technical domain with thorough experience.
Responsibilities
Solutioning / 2nd line support
Contributes to the solution of faults and takes the necessary initiatives and practical decisions to ensure zero repeat.
Solves technical issues within own focus area (e.g. sub-module).
New Product Introduction
Contributes to New Product Introduction by applying knowledge in product or process development projects; foresees problems in the production of the product in the design phase and improves the manufacturability of the product.
Engineering
Understands engineering problems and proposes solutions to problems.
Undertakes well-defined technical assignments. Contributes to design standards and engineering specifications. Assists in the design, operation and maintenance of equipment, tools and methods. Services in diagnosing and correcting technical problems.
Maintenance
Maintains, validates, provides up-to-date procedures, processes (work preparation) and blueprints/sequences for Factory execution.
Continuous Improvement
Analyzes the production process, points out structural problems and bottlenecks.
Continuously adapt, optimize operating instructions, process flow charts, routings, process parameters and indicators.
Contributes to assigned process improvement projects.
Signals gaps in processes and procedures and solves these.
Team management / Coaching
Be able to coach operators.
Stakeholder Management
Represents manufacturing in D&E/PGP, ensuring an efficient NPI process.
Communication at work center level with operators and TLs, own module TS,CS,ME,SCE engineers.
Own level and 1 level higher with (non) Factory departments (engineers, PL).
