Introduction

The Global Support Center for EUV at ASML supports advanced lithography systems used by customers worldwide. Within this organization, the EUV Continuous Improvement team works on improving global support through data-driven insights and structured ways of working. This internship contributes by transforming complex operational data into clear dashboards that support better decisions. Your work helps support teams shift from a reactive approach toward more proactive and predictive operations. Your assignment

During this internship, you work closely with improvement specialists and data-focused colleagues within the EUV support organization. You help translate operational needs into meaningful data insights and automated reporting solutions. The assignment combines data analytics, automation, and continuous improvement in a live technical environment. Your main responsibilities will be:

Analyze and structure large operational data sets from multiple sources.
Develop clear and user-friendly dashboards using Power BI.
Automate data processing and reporting using Python and workflow solutions.
Improve and define data-related processes to increase transparency and efficiency.
Translate improvement questions into measurable indicators and data insights.
Support improvement initiatives with planning, coordination, and documentation.
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to diverse stakeholders.

This is a bachelor or master internship (open to thesis students) for a minimum of 6 months, minimum 4 days per week (3 days on-site). It is projected to start at the end of August 2026, though an earlier start from July onwards is possible.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

Are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, software engineering, informatics, applied mathematics, or a related field.
Have experience with Python and Power BI.
Work in a structured and analytical way with complex and large data sets.
Take a proactive and collaborative approach in a technical working environment.
Communicate clearly in English and feel comfortable working in an international setting.

Other requirements you need to meet

You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
