Travel & Expenses Team Member

Thales Business Support Services (TBSS) acts as a Shared Service Center for Thales Group by serving a number of countries for various key tasks associated to finance and accounting processes. This business support services center of excellence drives innovation within our internal business processes, cutting through complexity and supporting our external leadership in digitalization.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and process employee expense claims in line with Thales Travel & Expenses policy and defined deadlines

• Analyse expense claims and perform compliance and accuracy checks across multiple operating units

• Manage employee and end-user expense-related queries via email and ticketing systems, ensuring high-quality customer service

• Monitor and maintain prepayments and debit balances at acceptable levels

• Support month-end closing activities, reporting, corporate card reconciliation, and internal/external audits

Competencies & Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset

• Team player with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle multiple tasks

• Adaptable and flexible, comfortable working in a fast-paced and multicultural environment

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, able to work with different cultures and stakeholders

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
