Why this role matters:

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll design and build the physical and cloud-connected network foundations that enable ICEYE’s satellite operations and customer deliveries at global scale. As our constellation and customer demands grow, existing network designs are no longer sufficient. You will play a key role in evolving our infrastructure to deliver high-throughput and high-reliability connectivity between ground stations, data centers, and cloud environments, directly impacting mission-critical ISR capabilities.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, robust, and scalable hybrid networks for data centers and cloud environments to enable world-class satellite communications

• Build and manage network infrastructure using automation, API-driven configuration, and version-controlled change processes across switches, routers, and firewalls

• Own critical production systems with a focus on reliability, observability, and security against real-world threats

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

• Strong experience of network engineering from designing and operating production-grade infrastructure

• Solid understanding of core networking fundamentals, routing, and hardware lifecycle management

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Git, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines

• Clear understanding of designing and implementing secure telecommunications

• Ability to work effectively in UNIX-like environments and clear understanding of modern virtualised computing platforms

• Expert-level understanding of at least one major enterprise network operating system and firewall platform

• Pragmatic, collaborative mindset with the ability to balance technical quality with business needs

Nice to haves:

• Experience and willingness for hands-on work with physical hardware

• Experience with software development especially in relation to network applications

Base salary range for this position is 6 000 - 8 000 € per month (gross), depending on experience, and will be negotiated individually.
