Job Description
About WellTheory
WellTheory is a digital health company helping people with autoimmune conditions take control of their health through personalized care, nutrition guidance, and ongoing coaching. We're a team of 60+ passionate people who believe better care starts with better relationships. Our organization has also entered its next chapter of rapid growth, and we’ve chosen to navigate it in a thoughtful, strategic, and values-aligned way.
About the Role
We're looking for a Recruiting Lead, reporting to our Head of People, to own full-cycle recruiting across the company as we scale. You'll be the driving force behind how we find, evaluate, and close talent, while building the systems and employer brand that let us hire well as we grow.
What You'll Do
Manage full-cycle recruiting across multiple functions — sales, ops, engineering, and clinical roles — from sourcing to close
Partner with hiring managers to build and refine interview plans and hiring criteria
Source, screen, and build strong candidate pipelines, and manage the process through offer and close
Own and continually improve our use of Ashby, our applicant tracking system, including reporting on recruiting metrics and pipeline health
Identify and implement ways to use AI to automate and streamline our hiring operations as we scale
Build out WellTheory's employer brand and candidate experience, ensuring every candidate has a great impression of WellTheory
You Might Be a Great Fit If You...
Have hands-on experience with Ashby and have managed full-cycle recruiting for at least two different functions (e.g., sales, ops, engineering, clinical)
Have used AI tools to source candidates or streamline recruiting workflows
Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where you're expected to figure things out and build as you go
Are a curious person with a love of learning, and embrace the opportunity to solve unknown problems from the ground up
Care about the people around you and bring genuine warmth and good judgment to your work
Bonus Points
You've led recruiting at a high-growth Series A/B startup and have helped companies grow from 50 to 150+ employees
Experience recruiting for digital health companies
Empathy for the autoimmune experience
What We Offer
The opportunity to build WellTheory's recruiting engine at an early stage, from the ground up
Direct partnership and mentorship from a seasoned Head of People
A base salary range of $130,000 - $160,000 with meaningful equity and benefits. Placement within our range depends on directly relevant skills and experiences you bring to the role.
A team that genuinely cares about each other and the members we serve
This position requires current work authorization in the United States. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
