Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a versatile, deeply technical Product Lead to take ownership of the Hive developer experience and Aden's commercial product roadmap. Because Hive is a headless framework aimed at developers, "product" here means the entire surface area of the developer journey: the CLI, the interactive Terminal User Interface (TUI), the documentation, the API surface, and the enterprise dashboards used for monitoring. You will not be writing traditional user stories for non-technical users; you will be wireframing observability dashboards for complex node-to-node communication, prioritizing MCP tool integrations, and ensuring the setup experience via quickstart.sh is completely frictionless. You will bridge the gap between open-source community feedback, enterprise B2B requirements, and our core engineering team.

Qualification

  • BS or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Design, Visual Communication or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in visual design, graphic design, brand design, or related field
  • You are passionate about generating concepts and communicating them in an effective way
  • Gather ideas and elements to redefine Aden’s branding and bring the company’s identity to the next level
  • Build a strong online presence for Aden by producing compelling graphics, videos, and digital assets
  • Produce elegant and vivid materials(visuals, gifs, video, etc) for Aden’s website, product, and social media platforms
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Experience at a start-up or agency is a plus

Qualifications

• You need to know how to create an amazing digital interface using Adobe products or equivalent

• You need to know the basics of front-end development and be able to build prototypes using Vue.js, React.js, Bootstrap, etc.

• You need to have at least 3+ years of experience designing, marketing, or selling digital products

• You need to understand some basic business logic in B2B markets.

• You need to be very detail-oriented and organized.

• You love to write and publish your ideas online.

• You love listening to customers and discussing strategies with colleagues

Aden is committed to being an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate and support diversity, and work every day to create an inclusive work environment that represents the world that we live in

Our financial risk is a lot lower than a lot of established businesses as we have zero debt, fewer commitments/overheads, and grow each month.

  • We aim to compensate competitively. Additionally, we ensure a “happy rate” and boost in pay for every milestone we achieve together.

What’s unique about this role?

  • The product designer on our team solves a lot of problems, from usability issues, information architecture, and visual branding, to even engineering feasibility, our product designer detects, defines, and solves problems around our products and services. To quote the famous saying by Steve Jobs, “It's not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.”
