Job Summary:
Own the technical win in our sales cycle. Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, may observe/participate in implementations and customer adoption and renewal activities.
This entry level position is designed for individuals eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment. You’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and clear pathways for advancement.
Responsibilities:
Work with other members of the Sales and Customer Success teams as an integral part of the OpenGov ecosystem
Develop sales proposals and define solution fit for customers
Provide technical sales support in alignment with the Govology sales strategy
Prepare and present product demonstrations in context of "As Is" vs "To-Be" customer process
Build Technical Champions in the sales process
Achieve OpenGov Technical Win (Sales Engineers own the Technical Win)
Identify, evaluate, and recommend proof-of-concept opportunities
Provide input for technical sections of RFPs/ RFQs
Develop reusable technical assets to support sales activities
Utilize AI to design tailored solutions to prospects and customers.
Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, and Product Marketing
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Computer Science Degree Preferred.
0-2 years of experience as an SDR, in Sales, Support, or as a Sales/ Solution Engineer required
Civic engagement experience strongly preferred
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Compensation:
Dallas, TX: $75,000 - $80,000
On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.
The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
