Role Overview
As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Lynk, you will support the design, development, and testing of electronics and RF hardware used in Lynk’s nanosatellite bus and communications payload. Working closely with experienced Electrical Engineers, you will contribute to schematic-level design, circuit board bring-up, lab testing, and iterative integration activities across satellite bus and payload subsystems. This role provides hands-on exposure to real spacecraft hardware, lab environments, and cross-disciplinary engineering work.
Core Responsibilities
Assist with design and development of spacecraft bus and payload electronics, including support for circuit schematics, component selection, and layout review.
Support assembly, bring-up, and testing of circuit boards, including troubleshooting and debugging under guidance.
Participate in lab testing and validation, using standard electrical and RF test equipment.
Assist with simulation, analysis, and documentation related to circuit and subsystem performance.
Support firmware or test software development used for board validation and testing.
Contribute to technical documentation, test reports, and design artifacts.
Participate in design reviews and integration activities with electrical, RF, software, and mechanical engineering teams.
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Coursework or project experience in electronics, circuit design, or signals and systems.
Familiarity with schematic capture, circuit simulation, or PCB concepts.
Basic experience working in a lab environment and using electrical test equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
Preferred
Exposure to RF concepts, communications systems, or satellite hardware through coursework or projects.
Familiarity with Linux-based systems.
Programming experience in C, C++, Python, or MATLAB.
Interest in hardware/software integration and embedded systems.
