Team lead order to cash (order management/invoicing & accounts receivable)

Introduction to the job 

As team lead Order to Cash at ASML, you lead teams that play a critical role in serving customers and safeguarding financial accuracy. Your work directly supports the delivery of complex semiconductor systems and services that enable innovation around the world. 

In this role, you take ownership of one core part of the Order to Cash chain. Depending on your background and expertise, you will lead either an Order Management (Commercial & Services) team or an Invoicing and Accounts Receivable team within European Customer Operations. 

While the operational focus differs, both roles require similar leadership capability, a strong understanding of end-to-end Order to Cash processes, and the ability to drive stability, compliance, and continuous improvement in a complex, international environment. 

Role and responsibilities 

As tam lead Order to Cash, you lead a senior operational team within one Order to Cash domain. You combine people leadership with operational ownership and transformation mindset. In this function, you will be part of the Customer Operations tower within the ASML Business Services (ABS) organization and will report into the senior leader of the Customer Operations Europe team. 

In this role, you will: 

• Lead, coach, and develop an international Order to Cash operations team
• Own operational performance within either Order Management or Invoicing and Accounts Receivable
• Act as escalation point for complex customer, commercial, and financial topics
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and regulations
• Partner closely with Finance, Sales, Tax, Logistics, and IT stakeholder
• Contribute to Order to Cash transformation and future operating model design

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, business economics, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience within Order Management, Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, or Order to Cash roles
• Proven experience leading operational or financial teams in an international environment
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Order to Cash processes and dependencies
• Experience working with financial controls, compliance frameworks, and audits
• Experience with SAP
• Experience with automation or process improvement is a plus
