HR | Business Administration Internship: University Relations and Early Career Programs

Introduction

The Talent Engagement Team at ASML connects the company with students, universities, and future professionals worldwide. This internship supports building long-term relationships with academic partners. You will contribute to early career programs that introduce students to ASML and its technology. Through your work, you help create meaningful connections with the next generation of innovators. This internship offers a strong foundation in recruitment support, collaboration, and program development.

Your assignment

As an Intern in Talent Engagement, you’ll join a dynamic team that connects ASML with students and academic partners. You’ll help organize impactful events, improve communication materials, and analyze data to enhance our programs.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Co-organize and participate in community initiatives such as summer schools and university study tours.

  • Coordinate logistics and planning for early career programs.

  • Update and improve communication materials, including presentations and internal/external pages.

  • Analyze program data and visualize impact through clear reporting.

  • Research market trends and present findings to the team.

  • Streamline workflows and processes to boost program effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with team members while proactively engaging with other departments.

This is a bachelor’s or master’s internship (non thesis) for minimum 5 months, minimum 4 days per week ( 2/3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of September 1st, 2026.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business administration, communication, or a related field.

  • Have strong planning and organize work in a structured way.

  • Communicate clearly in English and enjoy working in a global environment.

  • Are analytical, experience with Microsoft 365 tools (such as SharePoint) is a plus and can be learned on the job

  • Take initiative and ask questions when needed.

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;

  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
