Introduction to the job

As an EUV Assembler – Bottom Module, you help build technology that shapes the future of semiconductor manufacturing. Your work directly supports ASML’s lithography systems, which enable faster, more powerful, and more energy‑efficient chips used worldwide.

In this role, you assemble and qualify high‑precision modules that become part of advanced scanner systems. Your contribution ensures that these complex machines meet the highest quality, safety, and performance standards. As an EUV Assembler – Bottom Module, you work in a clean, high‑tech environment where precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement matter every day.

Role and responsibilities

In this hands-on production role, you focus mainly on assembling and qualifying complex modules. You also support system qualification activities in Veldhoven during critical production phases.

You will:

  • Assemble and integrate high‑precision mechanical and mechatronic modules
  • Adjust assembled modules according to technical drawings and specifications
  • Perform testing activities, including leak testing, high‑voltage testing, and functional checks
  • Support system qualification by exchanging parts and handling delicate high‑tech surfaces
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during assembly, together with engineering or support teams
  • Contribute to improvements in quality, safety, and production efficiency

Education and experience

To succeed as an EUV Assembler – Bottom Module, you bring a solid technical foundation and experience in precision environments.

You have:

  • A secondary vocational degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or precision engineering
  • At least 1 year of experience in high‑precision manufacturing or assembly
  • Experience working with mechanical systems and basic electronics or optics
  • Familiarity with production or enterprise systems such as SAP
  • Confidence working with computers for documentation and reporting tasks

Other information

This position of EUV Assembler – Bottom Module operates in a two‑shift schedule and is based in an ultra‑clean manufacturing environment in Veldhoven.

For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 52,500 euro and 59,000 euro. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment and is based on a full-time contract. Company profit sharing is not included in this range. As this is a shift-based position you will receive a shift allowance on top of the indicated salary range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
