Join our team dedicated to building and assembling fine mechanical modules for advanced lithography systems. This role focuses on hands-on assembly and qualification, ensuring every component meets the highest standards.
Role and responsibilities
Assemble and integrate complex modules into final assemblies according to strict specifications.
Perform mechanical adjustments and alignments to guarantee optimal functionality.
Qualify modules on the qualification tool following established protocols.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve technical challenges during assembly.
Maintain accurate documentation: update logbooks, provide feedback on procedures, and record progress in SAP and Excel.
Apply structured 5S+1 standards to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time and enhance quality.
Ensure compliance with cleanroom standards and safety protocols.
Education and experience
Education: MBO 3/4 in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or similar.
Experience: Ideally 2+ years at ASML and 4+ years technical experience in precision assembly. Dedicated and eager candidates with less experience may also be considered.
Skills
Strong technical background in fine mechanics and precision engineering.
Process improvement mindset with proactive attitude.
Familiarity with SAP administration and MS Office tools.
Ability to work in a structured, highly organized environment with strict adherence to 5S+1 principles.
Stress-resistant and committed to very high quality standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Good command of English (read/write).
Other information
Function in a 2-shift operation within an ultra-clean environment.
The Operations EUV department handles production and installation of high-tech lithography machines, including planning and logistics.
This role is part of the NXE Build team, focusing on fine mechanical assembly, qualification, and final integration.
For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 52,500 euro and 59,000 euro. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment and is based on a full-time contract. Company profit sharing is not included in this range. As this is a shift-based position you will receive a shift allowance on top of the indicated salary range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members.
