HR internship: support the Internships Office

Job Description

Introduction

At ASML, we hire hundreds of interns each year, and they play a key role in shaping our future workforce. As an intern in the Internship Office, which is part of ASML's Talent Acquisition team, you will contribute directly to this process by helping to fill the new internship positions with the best matching candidate. You will be involved in recruitment, support projects and events, and work closely with stakeholders across the organization. In this role, you will not only gain hands-on experience in a dynamic HR environment, but also contribute to building a strong talent pipeline for ASML.

Your Assignment

You will focus on the following key responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process of interns;

  • Collaborate with hiring managers across ASML to understand hiring needs and ensure the right matches;

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders on recruitment activities and progress

  • Support and participate in in student engagement activities, such as university events and on-site student events at ASML location

  • Work on your own projects depending on your background and interest to further improve the internship office

This is a bachelor or master (non-thesis) internship for at least 5 months, minimum 4 days a week (2 days onsite). The start date of this internship is around September 2026.

Your Profile

To be a fit for this assignment, you:

· Are a bachelor/ master student in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Studies, Business or similar;

· Have affinity with recruitment and interest in working with people;

· Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks;

· Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work accurately;

· Strong problem solving skills and able to think in solutions;

· Have great communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;

  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
