Communication | Media internship: video content creation

Introduction

The Re-Use Engineering department at ASML focuses on extending material lifecycles and reducing waste across return flows. Within this department, the Improvement Engineering group supports engineering teams through clear communication, reporting, and change management. This internship supports these efforts by translating complex reuse projects into engaging and accessible video content. You will contribute to sustainability initiatives by strengthening how teams share knowledge and project outcomes. This role offers an opportunity to apply creative skills in a high‑tech and impact‑driven environment.

Your assignment

During this internship, you will support the Improvement Engineering group in improving how reuse projects are communicated internally. You will work closely with engineers and project leads to create visual content that explains processes, progress, and results. The focus is on clear storytelling, consistent messaging, and practical use of video and multimedia. Your main responsibilities will be

• Develop multimedia content, including filming and editing videos, for training and internal communication purposes

• Strengthen a consistent team brand by creating clear and engaging multimedia content

• Enhance knowledge‑sharing materials and platforms, such as SharePoint pages, newsletters, and presentation templates

• Collaborate with project leads to visually capture progress and outcomes of implemented improvements

This is an internship (non-thesis) with a minimal duration of 5 months. It requires an investment of 24-32 hours per week, out of which 2 days per week are onsite in Veldhoven. The starting date is projected at the end of August 2026. Please include a motivation letter in your application.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

• Are a bachelor or master student in communication, media studies, film making, or a related field

• Have hands-on experience with video creation and video editing

• Are experienced with professional video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere, or similar tools

• Are creative, structured, and proactive in turning complex input into clear visual output

• Communicate clearly in English at a professional level, and collaborate comfortably in an international team

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
