ChemFinity Technologies is securing domestic supply chains and clean energy materials, by building advanced separations technologies that recover critical minerals and other resources. Our systems use high-performance, low-cost, high-durability sorbent filters that we tune at the atomic level to recover over 20 different minerals from wastes and mining feedstocks, starting with high-value metals such as platinum. Spun out of UC Berkeley in late 2022, ChemFinity is backed by world-class deep tech and climate tech investors, along with over a dozen top government and philanthropic agencies such as Breakthrough Energy Fellows, the U.S. Department of Energy, and ARPA-E.
