Job Summary:

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer. They will be responsible for supporting the development and continual refinement of the organization’s systems engineering processes as well as leading milestone reviews and presenting to internal and external stakeholders. The goal of this position is to lead an integrated multidisciplinary team through analysis, integration, verification, and validation leading to new or updated products, mission operations, and system disposal.

Responsibilities:

• Identify interface requirements and control of interactions across system and subsystem boundaries.
• Lead the technical team in the development of verification and validation plans and test execution.
• Utilize digital requirement management tools to define, trace and integrate system requirements across system lifecycles and variant systems and product lines.
• Manage and maintain stakeholder needs and transform the integrated set of needs to design input requirements with a multidisciplinary team.
• Develop and review integrated system architecture utilizing trade studies to enable system design decision making.
• Support technical understanding and decision making using prior experience with system modeling and analysis.
• Monitor and control processes to ensure coordination of design changes and associated impact across subsystems.
• Engage in quality control procedures to ensure that systems meet the organization’s quality standards.
• Understand external and internal systems as they are related to the project.
• Facilitate various stakeholders to achieve integration of both technical and program objectives.
• Provide technical and logistical support for milestone reviews/events and stakeholder engagement.
• Evaluate performance milestone criteria and support the validation process.
• Prepare technical progress reports for internal dissemination.
• Exhibit company Values and Behaviors and holds project and mission managers accountable to same.
• Responsible for traveling up to 30%, both foreign & domestic, to launch sites, customer facilities, and NASA/Government centers.
• Responsible for working a flexible schedule to support launch & integration operations (to include weekends and/or holidays).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university required.
• 4-6 years' experience in related experience
• Understanding of requirements creation and lifecycle management
• Familiarity with typical systems tools (MBSE preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Space Hardware industry preferred.

The salary range represents the base salary range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors. Those include but are not limited to location, experience, and performance.
