Job Summary:

Voyager is seeking a qualified SharePoint Administrator/Developer to join its Information Technology team. The successful applicant will possess demonstrable expertise in administering, developing, and enhancing SharePoint environments, as well as hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory) and Office 365 platforms in both commercial and GCCH environments. This role is accountable for maintaining the reliability, security, and scalability of SharePoint solutions, supporting enterprise business processes, and enabling seamless collaboration across the institution.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee SharePoint Online commercial and GCCH platforms as well as on-premises deployments, including management of site collections, permissions, content databases, and backup procedures.
  • Design, develop, and deploy tailored SharePoint solutions utilizing PowerShell, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and related technologies.
  • Ensure integration of SharePoint with Office 365 applications (such as Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive) as well as relevant third-party systems, to streamline workflows and enhance organizational productivity.
  • Administer and maintain user identities, access controls, and security policies via Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory).
  • Direct the administration of Office 365 services, including but not limited to Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive, to guarantee optimal performance and comprehensive user support.
  • Deliver technical support, resolve SharePoint and Office 365 incidents, and facilitate end-user training as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation regarding system configurations, operational processes, and procedural standards pertaining to SharePoint, Entra, and Office 365.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols, compliance regulations, and data governance requirements in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Proactively remain abreast of advancements in Microsoft technologies and propose enhancements to maximize operational efficiency and collaboration.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of five years’ substantive experience in the administration and development of SharePoint (including both online commercial, GCCH and on-premises environments).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory) and Office 365 administration.
  • Deep knowledge & experience with M365 administration including Entra; user, device, Teams and groups management; Intune, Purview, Azure, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and Power Platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PowerShell scripting and the SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Experience with integrating SharePoint and Office 365 with third-party applications.
  • Thorough understanding of security, compliance, and data governance within Microsoft technology environments.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of Microsoft certifications (such as MS-100, MS-101, SharePoint, or Azure).
  • Experience with integrating Okta Identity Management with Microsoft Entra.
  • Experience with deploying, managing and developing with the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and current web development practices.

The salary range represents the base salary range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors. Those include but are not limited to location, experience, and performance.
