Cybersecurity Engineer Intern

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer Intern to join our cybersecurity team and gain hands-on experience protecting commercial and government systems and data. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in building foundational skills in cybersecurity, threat monitoring, and security operations.

In this role, you will assist the cybersecurity engineering team with monitoring networks, identifying potential threats, and supporting vulnerability management activities. Responsibilities include reviewing security alerts, analyzing system logs, and assisting with the investigation of suspicious activity. The intern will also help maintain security documentation, support compliance initiatives, and assist in implementing basic security controls across systems and applications.

You will gain exposure to tools commonly used in security operations, including vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection platforms, and cloud security technologies. The internship will also provide opportunities to learn about incident response processes, risk management practices, and cybersecurity best practices used in both commercial and government IT environments.

The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and core security concepts. Experience with scripting, security tools, or cloud platforms is a plus but not required. This position is well suited for individuals who are curious, detail-oriented, and eager to develop practical cybersecurity skills in a collaborative technical environment.
