YOUR MISSION
We’re looking for an HR Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our People team-owning the execution of onboarding, onsite interview experiences, and core People Ops workflows. This role is critical to ensuring a high-quality employee and candidate experience while helping scale the systems behind it.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the Onboarding Experience
- Execute seamless new hire onboarding from pre-boarding through Day 1 and beyond
- Ensure employees have the tools, access, and information needed to ramp quickly
- Track completion of onboarding tasks and proactively resolve gaps
Support Recruiting & Onsite Interviews
- Coordinate and host onsite interviews, ensuring a polished and organized candidate experience
- Manage scheduling logistics, interview materials, and day-of execution
- Act as a point of contact for candidates during onsite visits
Drive People Operations Excellence
- Support core workflows in Rippling (employee data, documents, onboarding workflows)
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity
- Assist with performance review cycles, promotions, and compensation processes
Enable a Strong Employee Experience
- Coordinate onboarding events, team gatherings, and office experiences
- Support company-wide moments (all-hands, celebrations, milestone events)
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and requests
Improve Processes & Systems
- Identify inefficiencies in onboarding and People Ops workflows and help implement improvements
- Partner cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Facilities to streamline operations
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, recruiting coordination, or operations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute with consistency
- High ownership mindset - you follow through and close loops
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach
- Experience with HR systems (e.g., Rippling) is a plus
- Ability to travel as needed (Colorado, greater Los Angeles)
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in high-growth technology, aerospace, or venture-backed companies
- Experience leading orientation or training seminars, event planning and hosting
- Familiarity with Envoy visitor tracking systems, or other badging systems
- Experience supporting compensation programs through multiple stages of company growth
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: 65,000 - 85,000 annually
- Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education and experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work Location: this role will be fully onsite at our Long Beach
- Work environment is in a standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory.
