- Process Development and Improvement: Partner with engineering and quality teams to develop and refine work instructions, traveler documentation, and assembly processes. Champion continuous improvement to reduce build time, defect rate, and rework.
- Quality and Workmanship: Enforce IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-A-610 workmanship standards across the team. Lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) efforts for nonconformances and drive closure.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary interface between the avionics technician team and engineering, quality, and program management. Communicate build status, risks, and resource needs clearly and proactively.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment and ensure the team adheres to ESD, FOD, and cleanroom protocols. Hold the line on process compliance without compromising schedule.
