En nous rejoignant à Meudon, vous rejoignez le siège social du Groupe Thales situé en bord de Seine et organisé en un véritable campus, regroupant notamment nos activités d’identité et de sécurité numériques.

The director TMO/PMO/COMM is responsible for managing the transformation office and leading the optimization of the program, to stablish cultural enablers, enhance its efficiency, align the synergies between transformation pillars, provide strategic coherence within the organization, coach his/her teams, stablish the necessary Delivery follow-ups, and communication events. The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Background in digital/ISIT/ERP/PLM programs
  • Background in initiatives based on Data Restructuring/Continuity
  • Proven track record in delivering successful projects in System Integration domains
  • Extensive experience in Consulting, transformation plans and Change practices
  • Extensive experience in project management, PMO setup, TMO best practices, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid), and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to convince.
  • Ability to manage small direct teams, and grow them up.
  • Educational background including a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, complemented by project management certifications such as PMP/Agile.

Key Activities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic plan for Transformation that aligns with organizational goals, and which considers critical paths in Technical strategy, Platforming strategy, Data restructuring, new ERP deployment, PLM upgrades, and ecosystem connectivity.
  • Project Management: Lead project management processes, tools, and templates for the initiative, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Best Practices Implementation: Introduce and embed PMO best practices and methodologies across the organization.
  • Performance Monitoring: Validate metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance/impact of the PMO. Foster a culture of continuous improvement/innovation.
  • Communication: Contribute to Communication programs to explain project management capabilities within the organization. Contribute to change management efforts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and drive alignment with PMO objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Transformation Offiece, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals, and keeping the pace of frequent sprints.
  • Best Practices: Implement PMO best practices to enhance project delivery, governance, and resource management, at the budgeted cost.
  • Change Management: Participate in change initiatives, ensuring stakeholders are effectively engaged and new processes are adopted smoothly.
  • Project Management: Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, gathering feedback, and ensuring PMO services meet business needs, in incremental cycles.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and efficiency of the PMO.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on the progress and outcomes of PMO/TMO initiatives to senior management.
  • Team Development: Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities to TMO/PMO/Comm staff and project managers.
