Technical Publication Engineer (m/f/d)

Join the Thales expert team for radio communication systems, cybersecurity and cryptography, for encryption components and hardware security modules and electronic key management systems.
Your mission as Technical Publication Engineer:
Creation of technical documentation for systems and equipment using authoring tools such as the QuILS database and Arbortext SGML/XML Editor.
Consideration of the technical requirements and specific characteristics of military directives, specifications, and standards, including S1000D, S2000M, NSG, and DBSpec.
Development of clear, understandable, and audience-focused descriptions and graphical content covering the areas of system description, operation, maintenance, and repair.
Creation and publication of SGML and XML data modules.
Development of computer-based training (CBT) materials and instructional videos (e.g., utility films and video tutorials), including editing and voice-over production.
Creation of user-oriented and easy-to-understand training materials (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint presentations).
Delivery of audience-specific training sessions as part of the role of Technical Publication Engineer.
Implementation of new media technologies within technical documentation, such as voice assistants, smart devices, and Single Source Publishing methodologies.
We are looking forward to:
Degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Communication and Media Management, Technical Communication/Technical Writing, or a comparable field of study.
Experience with technical documentation tools and environments, including QuILS and Arbortext SGML/XML Editor.
Knowledge of military standards and specifications such as S1000D, S2000M, NSG, and DBSpec.
Skills in technical illustration and graphic design.
Strong technical expertise complemented by experience in the planning and delivery of training programs.
Experience with the integration of emerging media technologies, including voice assistants and smart devices.
Reliability and skilled to work on a structured professional environment.
Good communication skills and willing to work on a team-spirit context.
Strong interest in defense technology systems and equipment.
Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
