Technical Consultant
This position is hybrid model in our Berrini (Sao Paulo) unit.
Position Summary
The Technical Consultant provides consultancy and technical advice to the Customers.
He/She collects, clarifies, defines, formalizes and delivers card product specification based on Customer requirements, leading and coordinating all parts of the Thales organization from the Project launch up to the Customer Delivery, managing projects (internal and external) through the entire life cycle in respect of cost, time, and quality requirements.
The Technical Consultant is responsible to manage the project (schedules, requiments, meetings, follow ups) and product life cycle in order to improve the processes.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Provide pre-Sales support, as a complement to the Sales process, including the analysis of the Customers requests, in terms of Cards and Solutions (if relevant).
- Manage projects (internal and external) through the entire life cycle in respect of cost, time, risk, impact and quality requirements.
- EMV knowledge.
- Understand the customer technical organisation.
- Provide Thales with market knowledge and competition.
- Act actively to understand the Customer’s technical needs and to identify the possible solutions, based on Thales current product map.
- Inside the context of his/her accounts management, the TC is in charge to define the Requirements Specifications for the Customers assigned to him/her:
- May be the technical interface for the customers;
- May be in charge of the project management for the card product or FPER;
- May do first level support for small businesses;
- May be in charge of coaching and supervising;
- May take part of the project implementation of solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Engineering;
- Computer science background.
- Development Languages preferred.
- Project Manager and Process and analytical knowledge.
- English advanced.
