ABOUT THE JOB:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Architect to serve as the technical architecture counterpart to our Solutions Engineers on the People Solutions team. You will be responsible for defining the technical strategy, system architecture, and integration framework for our people systems to ensure Anduril is successful for the near and long term [1]. You will establish architectural standards, lead technical design decisions, and ensure our CorpOS people systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Define and maintain the technical architecture and integration strategy for people systems within CorpOS
- Establish architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for HCM platform implementations
- Lead technical design reviews and own architectural mappings on complex system integrations across people and finance systems, including Anduril’s ATS, HRIS, ERP, and any boundary benefits, payroll, or timekeeping applications
- Own the integration architecture, data models, and API strategies to ensure seamless interoperability for managers, employees, and admins from end-to-end
- Design and maintain security frameworks across people systems, authentication protocols, and permission models across system integrations and within applications
- Collaborate with internal software development teams and Solutions Engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures
- Partner with Corporate Data & Engineering teams to ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and design patterns
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with focus on ERP/HCM systems at manufacturing or technology companies (Aerospace & Defense industry preferred)
- Deep expertise in system architecture patterns, microservices, API design, enterprise integration frameworks, and commercial cloud technologies (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Proven experience architecting solutions for HR systems, such as Rippling, Oracle, Workday, ADP,
- Strong track record of defining technical architecture for complex, multi-system implementations from conception to completion
- Expert-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
- Ability to be in-office full time and willingness to travel up to 25% to visit other offices where hands-on collaboration will be necessary
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Background in high-security or defense industry environments
- Experience with data governance and security frameworks in regulated industries
- Certifications in enterprise architecture (TOGAF, Zachman) or cloud architecture
- Experience designing architectures for supply chain, manufacturing, and field operations systems
- Knowledge of AI/ML integration patterns for business systems
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
