OUR TEAM

Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.

YOUR ROLE

• Lead and motivate the production team to achieve daily safety, quality and performance targets

• Coordinate staffing, resources and work allocation to ensure efficient operations

• Coach and develop team members, identifying and supporting training needs

• Promote a strong safety culture through safe work practices, hazard reporting and risk management

• Monitor product quality, resolve issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain effective communication through shift handovers and reporting

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams

• Strong planning and organisational skills with experience managing people

• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities, fostering collaboration and teamwork

• Experience in manufacturing, production or industrial environments

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Lean principles, root cause analysis, or similar improvement methodologies is advantageous

• Diploma in Leadership & Management or proven equivalent work experience

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
