System Solution Engineer

As a System Solution Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging commercial strategy and technical design. Working closely with sales, solution architects, and engineering teams, you will evaluate solution architecture, analyze technical requirements, and develop accurate cost models. You will also focus on the design, integration, and validation of complex technical solutions to ensure solutions meet functional, performance and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer and stakeholder requirements and translate them into system and cost implications
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to assess scalability, integration, and deployment strategies
- Prepare total cost of ownership (TCO) models
- Support bid and proposal teams with cost estimates and work package definitions
- Engage with customer to explain the efforts for solution costing
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to proposals (e.g., scope statements, input/output specs, interface specs, integration assumptions)
- Participate in technical review and validation activities as required
- Collaborate with internal team members/contractors to ensure timely delivery of technical work packages
- Oversee, execute and implement the awarded Variation Orders by managing the requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in systems engineering/analyst role
- Strong analytical and communication skills—able to translate between technical and business audiences
- Experience preparing cost or effort estimates for technical projects
- Experience with sub-contractors / vendors management, security projects, complex IT projects or government systems is a plus
- Exposure to systems engineering frameworks (e.g., INCOSE ASEP/CSEP) or government IT projects is a plus
